I recently had the pleasure of dining at Splendid Diner and I must say, the experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease.Firstly, let's talk about the food. Upon entering, we were greeted by a woman at the front who helped us get a table. She asked a waitress to clean it off before we sat down, but the waitress initially replied that it wasn't her table. After a brief pause, she eventually wiped it down and said we could take a seat. However, after sitting there for a few minutes without any staff coming over to offer water or coffee, we decided that this wasn't the right place for us to spend our money.
For a random search, this was a great choice. Food was fresh and hot. Service staff were nice and attentive. Classic late 80’s music brought back pleasant memories while enjoying my meal. I will definitely return. Parking: Lucked out and found a spot 20 feet from the front door.
I was treated very rudely while simply trying to pick up a Grub Hub order. The staff member didn't even communicate with me to ask who I was there for. He returned with the order but instead of handing it to me, he placed it on the counter and then just walked past me.

The Splendid Diner in New Rochelle was a wonderful surprise during my trip from Chicago. The waitress was incredibly friendly and managed everything on her own, which was impressive. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Nice little diner downtown. The breakfast enchiladas were tasty. The service was great, with several tables, I was still attended to. They also give coffee refills which is always great.
Should is horrible, taste like it’s all being cooked with the same oil.. prices do not match quality of food and the owners/management is unprofessional
This is a nice, lowkey diner, always clean with good quick diner food, and on-point service. If you're in the neighborhood it's a good cozy choice!
