Found this little gem on Google maps on our way home from North Carolina by typing in vegan food in the Search Along Route option. Thanks Google Maps! I called about two hours before we would get there to make sure they would be open and if they had any seating. When I called she said indoor dining was still closed but they had a picnic table outside. I also asked what the usual wait time for take out was and called again when we were about 20 min out. We were able to park right out in front and street parking was free at the time. Our food was ready and hot when we got there and the staff was super nice. I stopped by this place to grab some smoothies while I was nearby picking up pottery, as it was on my sister's recommendation list. I should mention that I’ve never waited so long for a smoothie, but the staff did inform me about a backlog. The foot traffic was quite busy, which I took as a positive sign. I didn’t try any food, but the aroma in the shop suggested it would be good. The prices were a bit high for just fruit and relatively small portions, but the smoothies were quite tasty. If I ever return, I would definitely order the Green Hulk again. Overall, this storefront on Frederick Avenue is interesting, and I'm glad I stopped by, although I likely won’t make a return visit.
I wasn 't planning on stopping in, but I needed an afternoon pick me up. Not a huge fan of spending $8 on a juice but every now and then I like to treat myself and I am so glad I decided to splurge today because this Immune Booster juice hit just the spot I needed it to! Plant based food in Maryland yay! I got the vegan cheesesteak, make your own salad, and an Oreo bar dessert. The cheesesteak was pretty good- wasn't excellent. I liked the salad, especially doing the corn and chipotle dressing to it. The Oreo brownie was a dream come true- it did come from another bakery but great choice!
The food is consistently excellent, just as I expect. However, during my last two visits, they didn't have any ripe avocados, which happened about two weeks ago. While that's a minor issue, it doesn't overshadow their overall consistent quality in food and service. It's one of my favorite restaurants!
Sprout Natural Choice is my go-to every time I am in Catonsville. The Baltimore Cheezesteak is phenomenal. The seasoning, texture and overall flavor is mouth watering. Highly recommend!!
I drove from East Baltimore and arrived at 7:32 PM. Unfortunately, I was informed that they stop taking orders at 7:30 PM. Hopefully, I’ll have better luck next time.
