Square Cafe Hingham

I was in the restaurant industry for 20 years. Now, I love the other side of it but I am super critical of the places I go.With that, this is my first review on line..I had an Amazing dinner tonight at the Hingham location.Started with a Cosmo and rustic bread. Both fantastic! The cosmo put me right in the mood for a Friday night, if you know what I mean.. ; )Then ordered the sticky ribs and a glass of Valpolicella. Wine was alright but the ribs were to Die For!!Next up. I ordered the Cod and my friend ordered the the noodles.Hers was sweet and delish but mine was... Fantastic!!Perfect portion of slightly breaded cod over fingerling potatoes, heir covert and carrots, sitting in a lemon beurr...

One of the rare 5 star restaurant experiences Ive had. Its not exactly cheap but it was worth it. My only small complaint was I wanted to order my main course and the waitress was taking forever to ask for it and I pressed the issue and told her I wanted to and she gave me a little attitude back.Shrimp scampi was the best one Ive had in yearsBrussels sprout app was monstrous and delicious.Really positive experience overall

went there for an early Easter dinner. did not have a reservation but they accommodated us very nicely. i had the cafe bolognese and the only complaint i have was no room for dessert. the food was superb! and the staff was excellent!highly recommend trying out if your in the area.
