Squat and Gobble is Old Town Bluffton . Very popular. to those who go there. It 's a landmark . Open for breakfast and lunch and all their food offerings are good and cooked properly. Many people go their for the feel , in addition to the food. Staff is like family and will accommodate any special need if possible. There is never an empty coffee cup or soft drink on you table for more than a minute or 2. This is not a newbe . It 's Bluffton all the way. They have everything you might want for breakfast or lunch. Free easy parking, but Sunday mornings are busy. Wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast. We had a 10-15min wait but it was well worth it. The staff was kind and joyful even after a crazy breakfast rush. And the food came quickly and was cooked to perfection. My wife had a Greek omelet and I had abreakfast burrito. Both were delicious. We got a kick out of the decor. It was refreshing to be in an environment that doesn'ttake itself too seriously. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a delicious Southern breakfast! The biscuits and gravy were exceptionally tasty, with fresh biscuits and exactly the kind of sausage gravy I was looking for. My breakfast order (eggs over medium and crispy bacon) was prepared just as I requested. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a cozy feel with plenty of funny signs both inside and out.
We had a great time at this charming restaurant! We loved the 2 and 2 and 2 breakfast, biscuits and gravy, and the breakfast sandwich. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. Always, ALWAYS an adventure! GREAT breakfasts. GREAT, attentive wait staff. Low-key, inexpensive, comfort place. Two notes: 1. Sign in on the paper outside and they will come and escort you in. And 2. You don 't get a bill. You look for yourtable number (etched into your table) and walk up to the register to pay.
This is a fantastic breakfast place! We each tried a different dish and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We made sure to share bites so we could all taste everything. The cinnamon rolls were absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had!
Small breakfast/lunch place with some really great menu options. Ribeye was delicious and grits on point. The service was above and beyond. I recommend stopping in for a breakfast plate some morning.
