This restaurant is located in the Kempinski Hotel. I have to say for the price level they should be considered to feature premium quality...which they dont.First of all the service was excellent..the waiters were qute present most of the time and very nice.The food though...Asian cuisine that tries to be special...my opinion is they cant even compete against a "corner" dumpling kitchen in any asian country. The first course was some kind of beef in a bowl .. completely over-salted the second dish the "legendary" fish soup which was so fat and thick you could not even taste a single spice in there..ridiculuous..for a cheap restaurant the kitchen is ok/good but at this price level people are l...
I was in Kitzbuhel for Hahnenkamm race week and stayed in Kempinski hotel. We generally tried to avoid the town with crazy drunk people for dinners so this was perfect so this was our safe harbour. Food was excellent. Top notch. Try lobster to start and then curries are really good and also salmon. Deserts are superb! But no doubt every item on the menu is perfect. Service was great too but since everyone was in Kitzbuhel the Jochberg restaurant was not so busy and staff was coming over a bit too much. We couldn't get few minutes of conversation without someone coming over to refill not-so-empty-glass, add more cutlery items, asking if we want some more wine. I mean - great service, but work...
Als wir im Kempinski Hotel waren, haben wir für unsere erste Nacht das Sra Bua gebucht und es hätte nicht besser sein können. Der Ort ist wunderschön, modern mit einem asiatischen Touch in der Dekoration. Die Kellnerinnen waren während des Abendessens sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend... Das Essen war überraschend lecker! Sie müssen unbedingt die Rindfleischvariation probieren, es sah eher wie ein High Tea aus, aber mit Fleisch... es war großartig! Auch das Hauptgericht war köstlich und frisch, und für das Dessert fehlen mir die Worte, schauen Sie sich das Bild an. Es gibt auch eine anständige Auswahl an Wein. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen!
Das Einzige Gute im Restaurant ist der Service und eine breite Auswahl an Weinen. Es ist ein totaler Reinfall. Der Koch hat eindeutig versucht, etwas Einzigartiges zu kreieren, aber ist gescheitert. Man könnte denken, dass bei der begrenzten Auswahl an Gerichten im Restaurant alles perfekt sein sollte, aber nein.... Man bekommt geschmackloses, über salziges, schlecht präsentiertes, weit unterdurchschnittliche Qualität Essen. Wenn man im Kempinski Hotel wohnt, wie wir es getan haben, ist es am besten, eines der vielen nahegelegenen Restaurants auszuprobieren.

We stayed 3 nights at the Kempinski das Tirol and we had our 2 out of 3 dinners at the Sra Bua restaurant. Service is great and they are always trying to please. The food is exceptional especially the red and yellow curries. Don't miss out on desert. The food presentation is always a piece of art. We sincerely thank and appreciate the chef and staff. We will go back again and again❤️
Good level of oriental cuisine pretty delicious dishes and superior quality of products. Nevertheless, the service was bad as in the hotel in general. Could be an option to try Chinese or Japanese foods, but do not expect the first dish to appear to wait 1 hour. Waiters appear less often than regular buses that will take you to Kitzbuhel.
Zwei hervorragende, fürsorgliche und sehr freundliche Kellnerinnen (Sandra und Lana) haben diesen Abend unvergesslich gemacht! Allerdings war das Essen ziemlich durchschnittlich und definitiv nicht seinen Preis wert! Ein weiterer Stern in der Bewertung geht aufgrund der steifen Atmosphäre verloren.
Really a must to visit when in Kitzbuhel. Located in The Kempinski Hotel in Jochberg, Sra Bua is maybe one of my top 5 restaurant experience. We had en 5 course tasting menu combined with excellent wine and I must say this is all tiptop noch.

Wow, what a great food. Came here with average expectations, however was surprised by a great service and even better blend of asian and European cuisine. I really recommend this restaurant.
