Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior—Sri Dosa Palace is truly authentic! While in the area, we used the reliable Happy Cow app, which recommended this nearby spot with great reviews. At 5:30 PM, the restaurant was lively with what appeared to be local regulars. We were likely the only non-Indians there, but the staff were incredibly welcoming and quickly found us a table. A woman at the next table kindly explained what a dosa is (a type of crêpe) and suggested some beginner-friendly dishes. We started with Kanchipuram Idly rice cakes as an appetizer and both ordered the Paper Mysore Masala Dosa for our mains. The waitress warned us the dosa was very long—and it was! Without a doubt, Sri Dosa Palace is another South Indian dining option. The food is good, but so are the other nearby competitors. It lost a star for being slightly overpriced, the premises being a bit less tidy, and orders arriving later than expected. The dosa batter didn’t quite feel authentic to traditional South Indian cuisine, but it was still decent. Overall, it scores one star less than the other two South Indian restaurants on OakTree Road, but still deserves three stars for its convenience.
The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and there were plenty of vegan options available. The authenticity of the cuisine was impressive. During our visit, they had a self-serve pot of lentil soup that was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, happily answering our questions and even offering us some complimentary items!
The dosas were fantastic! We sampled the chef's special dosas, and while the Gini cheese roll dosa was just average, the Guru special and triple masala dosas were outstanding. I really appreciated the self-serve option for sambhar; it made things easier since we didn't have to wait for the waiter. I would definitely return!

This is the best South Indian restaurant I've ever visited! The hospitality is exceptional, receiving a perfect score of 10/10. The food is absolutely delicious, and they offer unlimited sambhar. The prices are very reasonable as well. It's definitely a must-visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
What authentic South Indian food! The dishes are incredibly delicious and served in generous portions. The service is very quick, and at the restaurant, you’ll enjoy unlimited sambhar and coconut chutney. They also offer options for meals without garlic and onion.
There were so many choices. We went with lentil donuts and I asked the server what to get without dairy and they were very helpful. Ended with a spicy mango dosa and it was great.
I can see why the other reviewer decided to live nearby...the dosa, sambar, and chutneys are absolutely fantastic. Even the idlis served with sambar are incredibly flavorful.

It was wonderful! A warm and inviting place offering genuine South Indian dishes. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely a place worth visiting!
I actually moved to this area just to be closer to Sri Dosa, haha! They have quickly become my favorite restaurant of all time.
