I had seen some reviews and pictures from st burgs and thought it'd be a cool place to take my husband for lunch. We ended up having to drive around for about 20 minutes before we could even find a car space to park. And then when we finally got there and ordered 2 burgers and a small bowl of cheese fries the bill came to $46?? I dont even know how? Then we had to wait half an hour for the food to come out,even though we were the only ones there. when it finally arrived i was expecting chicken breast fillet which is white meat... but the fillet was actually brown in colour and obviously of a processed meat which i threw away... it was disgusting. And the size of the burgers were miniscule co...
It's been a long time coming .. located westside tucked in a local series of residential apartment blocks.. I have heard so much about this joint but had never in the past 3 years manage to align planets.. anwaysss the Double D.. Loaded Fries ... shakey shakes and cheese burger... The double D is your greasy style burger with a patty that has lots of little burnt bits. Very tasty!! With well balanced sauce and pickle. For me right now though House of Leonard's is best for this type of burger... why? St Burgs patty is a bit too salty! But still I would rank it as one of the better burgers around right now. Bit hard to get to unless you're in the west.
Firstly, if I see another review about a lazy person who finds it difficult to park and walk to this fantastic place I'll scream!! It's a burger place and a damn fine one at that, it's not their job to organise a park out the front..go to Crown if you want 'valet service' and they will charge you for it!!!!As for the burgers they are clean fresh and somehow they feel light as they go down, seriously 'Top Notch'. The restaurant and service is second to none, so I would highly recommend this place for people who enjoy their food and are not cereal pests!!Thanks guys and see you again soon!!
I was in the area for an appointment, so glad I stored in for lunch, what a surprise, the freshest tasting burger I've had since forever!!Seek it put, its worth it. Great staff ! Welcomed a soon as I entered the shop and quickly served. Simple menu with options as you expect for a speciality burger joint. Busy late lunch crowd. My choice was double d without bun - so tasty Can't wait to return
Had these burgers at the big burger biannual in St Kilda. Made the best choice. Burger has lots of flavour and wasn't too oversized for me like all the others. So good!

Visited St Burgs for a burger and certainly wasn't disappointed. We enjoyed our burgers, worth trying out if in the Edgewater area.
