Great happy hour from Monday to Wednesday, 3 PM to 6 PM, with a 2-for-1 deal on appetizers and discounts on all draft beers. The service is excellent, and our server was very informative. Highly recommend!
Salt and pepper wings — best in the valley. Monday nights are two for one appetizers. Seafood Boxty — delish! Top it all off with the Gingerbread pudding. Locals LOVE 'The Gate '.
Beef and barley soup followed by shepherd's pie with emerald greens and sticky toffee pudding with espresso ice cream. Swallow it all down with a few pints of Guinness!

Fish and chips are amazing here although I'm not a fan of their tartar sauce. Curry mussels are fantastic.
There is nothing better anywhere than their Irish (lamb) stew. Wish it was gluten free!
