St. John's restaurant was possibly the worst restaurant meal I have ever had in England. And it was on the last night of my visit. I had hoped to have a good meal to celebrate my trip, but this ended my trip on a sour note. For dinner I ordered Potteed Shrimp, braised lamb shank and a class of Merlot. The potted shrimp consisted of tiny canned shrimp that looked as though they were cooked three days before and were in a greasy butter souplike fluid. They were disgusting.
