Ordered online using the rapid pickup option. When I arrived, my order was not yet ready-which was a problem. The lady working the counter didn 't acknowledge or greet me, so I figured I 'd sit and wait for my order... except there was no place to sit bc they built a huge wall blocking off the guest seating area so people can no longer sit and enjoy their meal. So I walked back to the shelves where my rapid order was supposed to be, only to be told in a very rude way that I would have to pay for the cup of coffee that I came into the store with. That was my 'welcome to Bread Co ' greeting-basically being accused of stealing. I cancelled my order and left. No wonder they 're going out of busi...
I'm not sure why I keep coming here other than convenience, it's two streets from my job. Fourth time coming here and they've got my order right once. They won't even get the bread correct. Or they'll get the bread right but not the condiments...sometimes it's not even the correct meat. I have no idea why they have as many stars as they do honestly. Apparently extra sauce means no sauce...the only good thing about this place is the super nice friendly lady at the counter. Shes kind and outgoing and has a great vibe.
This restaurant is the worst. I have visited at least 30 Panera locations and this one is terrible. The small dining area is always closed, there are no bathrooms or electric plugs inside, and there is no drink station for refills. St. Louis Bread Co. is supposed to have a relaxed atmosphere for casual meetings and working on laptops while eating lunch. The display of pastries is disappointing, as my orange scone was doughy and unpleasant. However, they exchanged it for a different pastry without any issue.
I really love the friendly, caring, and professional staff, and the food never disappoints! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, and any salad or sandwich can be changed to be vegan.If you eat cheese, there's pizza and mac cheese, and they usually have at least one vegetarian soup. Parking: Even during lunch rush times there're usually some parking right in front and there's always plenty of parking close by in the building parking lots.

Spoke with Kim Sylvia at this location. We were in need of lunch pickup for 14 people and had not called the order in. ? Kim the catering mgr and Sylvia front counter) were super supportive, friendly and accommodated our order in a timely fashion! It definitely felt like they appreciated our business and offered us something to drink while we waited! Both Sylvia Kim went the extra mile! Thank you!
Just a heads-up, the dine-in area has been blocked off primarily for kiosk/rapid pick-up orders. My strawberry poppyseed salad was a bit disappointing as it didn't have any strawberries, only pineapples and blueberries.
Sylvia and her crew were very accommodating with our large group. She made it extremely easy to order and kept everything running smooth. We appreciate their kindness and organization. Would definitely recommend!
Inside dining eliminated; NO inside sit-down dining or outside patio tables any longer! No restroom in remaining small pickup area now walled off. And I believe never had a drive-thru.

The food was overcooked and there was minimal engagement from the staff.
