What an oasis of calm in such a beautiful station. A wonderful place to meet friends near the platform. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and food lovely. Not as many tables as last time I visited so will always make sure I reserve one of their few tables for another time ... only one negative is the lack of a toilet. There are the stations toilets a short walk away but the queue for the ladies is often very long so not ideal mid lunch! Will definitely be returning next time I’m back in London St Pancras!
We took my boyfriends grandparents here for Afternoon Tea and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The good selection was great and although the tea is £35pp they provided us with refills whenever we asked which was great. There were a wide variety of tea’s available! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and even though the restaurant is in a shop within the station it was very quiet inside and felt like we were away from the hustle bustle. I would definitely recommend
limited menu. although the menu food allergy codes had on the bottom of the menu, none of the foods had the codes besides eating-not that there were no allergens, but that it simply did not. had to ask the waiting staff for gluten-free what seemed a bit shocked that everyone could be. ends with a moderately dry piece of fish on some spinat. eating my partner is also only moderate. the caffe is pressed into the f
very pretty business that sells great gift ideas. of tea, coffee, cookies, pralines and even tea sets they find everything they need in very nicely packed boxes and doses. it is a little steep price because of its branding and queen’s association, but if they have additional money, they go ahead and splurge. their friends will be happy to receive such a beautiful gift. Many come here for the tea, I’m lured in by the exquisite wine selection. Wines also available to taste by sample. And of course, tea, chocolate and the many other delights…..another London staple.
best afternoon experience we had. the price is high, but all food and tea can be refilled without additional fees. the best jam and camouflaged saw with scones that I had in one!
the dead and scenes were very good. the avocado on toast was very average, as the krabbensalat was missing from garnitur or at least a side salad!

No heating on a cold day. Plates for warm dishes had not been warmed and food got cold very quickly.
