TLDR; Price 7/10 Food 8.5/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 9/10 Very upscale steakhouse with two different areas lounge and dining room. You can make reservations for either one, but from my experience they're not usually busy. I've passed by Stakeout very often, since I'm usually in the area, but have never decided to go in because of how pricey it looked... But I've finally tried it out! They're your classic casual fine dining steakhouse. I say casual fine because though they don't enforce a dress code, the waiters and other diners are all nicely dressed. I got the Blue Cheese Filet Mignon with a beef barley soup. I've got to say their soup is surprisingly delicious! Not too salty and a good rati...
FYI: It 's a pricier joint. We came here for our anniversary dinner. Even though they seem to have a upper class venue, you don 't need to suit up. Nice Decor and Romantic Atmosphere with the Dim Lighting. But location is situated beside The Source and in the same unit as A Taekwondo Studio and A Popeye Fried Chicken. Gave us some free bread as well. With Butter and Olive Spread. Hubby loves Olives so he enjoyed the spread the most : We ordered: App: Seared Bacon Wrapped Scallops. Was really tender and flavourful. Main: Prime Rib And New York Striplion Steak Prime Rib came with Garden Salad and Fries. Hubby thought his Prime was not rare enough for him. Garden Salad was a nice presentation....
I've tried a few menu items over the years. We've always had great meals and good service. Most recently I had a kir royale, bacon wrapped scallops, the lobster tail dinner for my main with house salad to start, and chocolate cake for desert. It was a pretty fantastic meal I have to say. In the past I've ordered the pork chop as my main and loved it. One if the biggest porch chops I'd ever seen! My husband likes to order the steaks which are always delicious as well. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Nice ambiance I only wish they didn't have TVs going during a nice dinner but I guess some people need sports.
Elegant interior with superb service. The food was fine however, I asked for a medium rare prime rib and it seemed like it was more medium. Loved the olive spread with the bread and butter. Would love to go back again since I believe in supporting local businesses. Note: It feels like you're in a fancy fine dining establishment. However there is no need to dress up. Casual attire is sufficient as long as it isn't ripped jeans and a tee...Unless you're Justin Bieber with the big bucks! The parking area is shared with The Source and Popeye's next door.

It was a meet the parents dinner. Got to meet our daughters future in laws. Decided to play it safe and go to a classic steakhouse. Cozy plush formal dinning room. Service was good. Menu was typical, steak, seafood and sides. I had the 8oz. New York Strip Loin. Medium rare with a side of asparagus with hollandaise sauce. All delivered promptly with out too much fuss. Steak was cooked as requested, tender and tasty. Standard steak house fare, a little over priced but a nice place for a gathering if you are in the Stouffville area.
This place never disappoints. Today I went with my family and we enjoyed every minute of our visit! We ordered the escargot, bread with melted cheese, Steaks, Fillet mignon, Fettucine and the Cali sandwich. Everything was so delightful! I love this place and would highly recommend dining here. Amazing food, amazing people and service! Go for lunch, go for dinner or have a team meeting here! You will not be disappointed!
A nice place in an unassuming strip mall in sleepy Stoufville.... You gotta be kidding!! Two words...Prime Rib!! Absolutely delicious. Not taking away from the other items but for sure I loved the PR. Add in a bit of good service in a comfortable environment, easy to park my car and the result is another reservation for our larger group in a week!!
Service was absolutely the worst, food was passable but twice the price it should have been. Sad when you think there aren't many good steak venues in the area, you would think they could hire some friendly staff who give a sh$t.

Rib starter was good. The sauce was good more tart than usual rib sauce (not a bad thing). But it could be meatier. Beef dip sandwich was good. The bread was crusty the beef was tasty a generous portion. The fries were decent.
Good fine dinning restaurant, albeit pricy for way up town....here locally....it's much preferred vs. the Keg... excellent selection of cuts...mine is the rib eye.
