Terrible customer service, staff are only interested in themselves their wage and not your dining experience. The tastless bland food the deserts are stale. Star Buffet ....look im so sorry but I have to say it how it is!!!!!the food is terrible, badly presented & Messy and above all else it was cold.NO Hygiene precautions or preventative care taken at all.I tried to find a clean spoon & all were still dirty with un washed food on them.stains all over the carpet and it was very un pleasant.I don't totally blame the people running the place BUT I do lay blame with the RSL management as it is in their establishment.I'm sorry but it needs a Health Dept inspection as it is just a rotten mess.I don't just bag a place for the sake of it !!! but we as diners expect our eating and utensils to be of the cleanest& highest Quality" well it is not !!!!!!!!!...
Use to be my favorite place as the price was value for money. But I was so this visit on this Saturday. The buffet change the menu and cancelled my favorite mussels as well as the fried wonton. Other deep fries looked unattractive, just didn't looked right. Used to have fried scallops which had been wiped off since early 2017.The worst thing for today was the Edamame at the sushi chain. I ate about 12 contained in a saucer, unaware it was already yellowish as it is one of my favourite food. Surprisingly it was busy by the long queue that was there. The queue took a long time to process. No proper queue lines or aids to put people in the right place. Once inside it is squashed. No room to move at dining table nor where food it. Food was bland not much variety. No real ice-cream it was soft serve. Not much Asian food. Too think of it not much of anything. If you Want to go to a good buffet try Blacktown RSL or Merrylands Bowling club. Now that is value for money. Oh yeah your knife and fork are only available on the table, once. Have to reuse.

Too busy and messy. I can say foods all look messy in a way that you get never attracted to them. Containers are not regularly refilled, or are replaced with another types of foods (which are usually less popular). Foods are not interesting and do not have a good variety.The funniest part was when the person who was responsible for cutting the ducks, was only doing that when people from his country were around the table, so that they could grab the best parts! It was ridiculous! We could just get the skin or bones.We have a very bad experience there.
I have been to star buffet a few times most recently a few days ago. Everytime I go the food is the same. It would be good if they changed things up a bit. They are slow to refill some of the food stations which can be frustrating and a lot of the times I miss out in having a certain dish because it hasn't been re filled. Everytime I have been to the buffet the potato dishes are either under cooked or cold. Most of the food is good but I do think it is over priced for what it is.
This is the place to come when you don't know what to cook for dinner but feel like a little bit of everything. The price here is decent and the food is pretty good. This is a cheap eats place but serve a variety of foods from seafood, sushi, asian bbq pork, hot chips, nuggets, fruit and dessert. Sometimes it gets a little crazy when there are heaps of people and everyone is jumping on top of each other to get the prawns, but besides that its pretty good.
A huge selection of foods available, great quality at a very fair price. A very large dining area, yet still crowded due to the amazing value for money....hard to beat for a place to eat - especially if you're real hungry. Well worth a try!

Really really bad customer service! I don't recommend this place to anyone. You have to have a passport with you to get in and join into a sketchy club, id's from overseas aren't acceptable. Loads of trouble just get average food.
