I must say, I am extremely disappointed with the recent renovation of my favorite Starbucks location. The modern look they've tried to implement is nothing short of terrible and has completely stripped away the charm that used to make this place so special.Back in my high school days, this Starbucks was our go-to spot to hang out, socialize, and work on school projects together. We would spend hours chatting, laughing, and sipping on our coffees, often going back for a second cup because we loved the cozy ambiance and comfortable seating.Now, as a returning university student, I was really looking forward to revisiting this nostalgic place and reliving those old memories. The renovation is pretty bad.The Starbucks used to have one entry and one exit. You enter on one side, order, grab your items, sit (large area with plenty of space), or leave.Now the process is squeeze in to the end (next to people sitting at the bar like table near the window), loop around, order, walk back and wait with all the people waiting for the washroom.What Dumbo thought that this process was a good idea? Must have never visited the location prior to making the Floorplan.There is no space to sit inside, really.Staff are quick and nice. Beverages were made well.
This used to be a fantastic spot for business meetings and gatherings with friends over food. Unfortunately, it has lost its charm and has turned into a generic chain that seems indifferent to its customers. I'm extremely disappointed. There are now other coffee shops in Port Credit that will not only receive my business but also that of many others who have shared their frustrations with the new layout.
Atmosphere was okay but I do agree with the comments.. barely any space to sit. It’s so crowded with barely any space for lines etc. drink tasted fine but didn’t appreciate the judgement from the barista when ordering my drink. Ryan, you are a rock star. Thanks for my perfect coffee today, despite my protests that I didn't need the personalized service. You and the team are running a professional shop despite the all day rush of folks drinking in the warm weather by the lake. Keep on delivering excellence!
Lovely service. Always with a smile. Great location. Pick up a coffee and walk to the lake for fishing or just watching the boats and waves. Very relaxing as back to nature should be.
Always super busy so expect long waiting lineups. Courteous staff. Seating can be but better but yeah thats your typical StarBs
