SURPRISINGLY aggressive customers overall in the drive thru line, and a MANAGER and POLICY that IS UNFLINCHINGLY RIGID and OVERLY SELF-RIGHTEOUS ABOUT THE SO CALLED REFILL POLICY. PLEASE! YOU WERE EVEN GIVEN A TIP FOR SIMPLY DELIVERING FOOD THRU A WINDOW (GRUFFLY. OH.YES...AND I DID OFFER TO PAY FOR THE REFILL AT THE END OF THIS DEEPLY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I needed to get some work done on my Honda, so I opted to work from the Starbucks located across the street and a car lot from Smart Honda in West Des Moines. This small Starbucks, which features a drive-thru, turned out to be a perfect spot for a morning of productivity! It had a lively atmosphere, but it wasn’t crowded, allowing me to share a table with another gentleman who was also working. I try not to get sucked in but on occasion I give in to a cup from Starbucks. I am kinda digging the taste of cold brew coffee lately. Its a special treat and a limited supply at the Starbucks. I asked if it was anything like cold brew toddy and I got a blank stare. Well, that's fine I understand. It was still good and made my step that more peppy. This location is close to my work so I will probably be stopping by again.
I really appreciate the consistency of Starbucks. Whether I'm picking up a vanilla latte during a layover at DFW or enjoying a black iced tea in Des Moines, I always know what to expect. Couldn’t get a mobile order correct. Ordered a chocolate cream cold brew with a splash of milk and somehow got a cinnamon cold foam drink. Didn’t realize until i was stuck in traffic they got it wrong. I was the only car in the drive thru so it couldn’t have been so busy they mistake choc crm with some cinnamon drink
I order from here all the time while on my way to work. Today was very busy I had to wait a little longer but everyone working was working as fast as they could. Thank you for all your hard work.
