Starbucks: The place where the sun rises, but if you’re hoping for a strong cup of dark roast, you’d better get there by 10 AM! If you’re looking for a morning boost, you might leave feeling let down since their coffee offerings seem to take a nap early. And if you’re brave enough to stop by in the evening, be prepared for an adventurous experience with their 'spicy fresher lemonade coffee drink pink finale perfume tasting bar' (try saying that five times in a row!). Don’t even get me started on their Americano mishaps—it often feels like they’re speaking a completely different coffee language! But hey, at least it adds some excitement to life, right?
I found this location to be quite disappointing. During my three visits, the drinks were only filled to about 75%, and it appears that the recipes aren't being followed correctly. While most Starbucks locations consistently get my usual orders right, this one has let me down every time. I would advise steering clear of it, as there are better options nearby. Even though this location is the closest to my apartment, I’m more than willing to drive an extra three minutes to the Sepulveda location in the future.
This location closes at 8 PM, but they begin to set up barricades at the front counter by 6:45 PM. The staff appears to be frustrated when customers arrive for service before the official closing time. With mop buckets and chairs blocking the entrance, loud music blaring, and unwelcoming attitudes, it feels as though they're trying to discourage customers while they clean up. Overall, it was a disappointing experience!
I am repeatedly impressed by the staff at this location. Kira is wonderful, and I always enjoy her warm smile. On multiple occasions, the staff has greeted me by name as soon as I walk in. I really appreciate this location for its lack of a drive-thru, which provides a more personal atmosphere compared to typical Starbucks that often feel more like assembly lines. Just kidding—I'm sure they’re just busy!

The location is usually fantastic, but I feel it's important to share a warning with others. Today, the barista seemed to believe that toppings should be placed at the bottom. She instructed me to specify in the app that I wanted my topping on top and wouldn't acknowledge her mistake with the cinnamon powder.
I visited the restaurant today at around 6 PM and had a negative experience with one of the staff members. When I asked about a military discount, she just said no and rolled her eyes. Additionally, my drink was very disappointing; it tasted mostly like water. I won’t be coming back again.
The staff are all friendly and upbeat. However, my coffee had an odd flavor, and the restroom was not up to par. It looked like someone had just cleaned it, but it still didn't feel fresh.
The staff and service were outstanding! This is definitely the best Starbucks in El Segundo. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! Anthony was amazing!
