Where do I start? I guess I should begin with my day. I woke up feeling groggy and sore from my old mattress. However, I approached my morning routine with an unusual energy because it was my designated Starbucks day! Plus, I had a free drink to claim. I happily made my way to the counter and confidently placed my order in perfect Latin, saying, “magna alba capulus placet!” The barista seemed to understand as they smiled behind their dark sunglasses and began crafting my drink. They must have been smiling! They work so hard! I often wonder what life would be like if I got a glimpse into their world on the other side of that counter. What would I stand for? Would I resist the waves of fascism...
Filthy! Absolutely disgusting. The floors were covered in dirt and spilled drinks, and I almost slipped myself. With a bad hip, it could have been a serious accident! The staff need to be more proactive about keeping the floors clean by sweeping and mopping, but instead, they seemed more interested in chatting with friends who were hanging out at the collection counter. All of the high chairs were caked in food and drinks, clearly not cleaned in ages. The regular chairs were just as bad. There was also a lot of items out of stock. It was frustrating to see staff spending their time socializing instead of attending to customers. The paint was chipped and the entire place is in desperate need...
The lad serving behind the counter was polite, however the lady with him interrupted my partner while she gave the order to him making her having to repeat. Been here a few times, has happened a couple of time. She seemed to be telling him what to do so maybe a manager but should not be interrupting. Today the place was empty and disheveled. They may of just had a rush but people were needing to clear other people's mess just to sit down. Place was well ventilated which is a good thing due to covid however was too cold to enjoy a chat, the door sticks open causing the cold room to get very cold. This was a Sunday around 4pm
It was absolutely filthy. Floors, seats, and tables. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned. If you are understaffed, business should not have been aloud to open in the state it was today. Clean it before you start serving. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Ordered tea and it was too watered down it’s like I’m drinking flavoured water, had to wait while one person is on the till and making drinks while 3 people at the back doing god knows what. For a £5 drink it’s disappointing.
Indoor outdoor seating available. The large windows make this a pleasant bright space to enjoy your drinks. Staff are friendly service is quicker than in some other branches. Toilet available on site.
Always a polite and friendly welcome at this Starbucks.Prompt service and there is always seating available for those that want to catch up with friends and family.
