I only write reviews when what I get is different than what I expected. We've used the Star Wok a few times a year and until now always been pleased particularly as they don't use monosodium Glutamate. Tonights takeaway will be the last ..at least until the chef(s) change. So disappointed! Sesame prawn toasts overcooked, deep-fried and tasteless. Crispy duck (shredded) was dry and didn't include the skin (the best bit Our other dishes were equally disappointing. We've recommended Star Wok to friends and family for years. I regret no more. We don't use them frequently enough to pinpoint when the chef's changed. Now we have to find a good Chinese takeaway in MK.
DO NOT GO HERE! disgusting place with even note disturbing staff that clearly don’t know how to understand an order over the phone- ordered a vegan meal and they sent us pork and when we called they said they could remake and send some more...but would have to wait, when we refused and asked for a refund they didn’t want to give it and only when we clearly got annoyed did they finally manage to agree. Disgusting attitude and somehow managed to send one portion of veg spring rolls and one meat!!!
When I lived in Milton Keynes and when I’m visiting Milton Keynes this is the Chinese I like to use for a takeaway the beef in black bean sauce is fantastic the chilli crispy beef is perfect the duck in plum sauce is stunning I...would have to get a tray of that for myself if anybody else wants some they’ll need to get their own one and the house chow mein or House special fried rice is stunning good size prawns and plenty of meat in it you need to go and sample this Chinese
I must say that this was the worst Chinese food I have ever ordered. The fried rice, special fried rice, and ku pohuhn were all disappointing. The rice was not fried properly and the main dishes were drowned in a strange kebab sauce that was overly sweet and acidic. The meatballs were decent, but the sauce was not appetizing. I would advise saving your money and avoiding ordering from here. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

Have used Star Wok regularly as we live on Grange Farm. However our last 2 visits have been poor. Crispy duck tasted like it had been cooked twice and very dry. Tonight the spare ribs were tasteless and sat in a tray of coloured water....Sorry to say will not be returning
We have ordered from them a few times every time it takes forever for the delivery and they keep charging us more for the delivery fee. Today we have had to wait over a hour and half and I’m still waiting now! If you want...your food sometime today don’t order from here
I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. The service was incredibly fast, I just showed up and didn't have to order by phone. This Chinese takeout is excellent and I will definitely be returning.
ordered our food for the delivery at 5:30 a.m. and was given nothing from 60mins to 2hrs, and they finally came up completely unacceptable after 3 hours and sent them packaged. I have full refund of deliveroo.

I really don't understand some of the reviews on here. The food has always been good, if it wasn't I know the manager, Jason, would sort it out. Also I find the staff really friendly
