This is a solid place to eat on Main Street in Catonsville. Service 4/5: The service was a little slow but attentive and got everything correct and out in a timely fashion. I think maybe their sections are a bit big or spread out so it takes a while to do a lap? Drinks 4/5: You get what you ask for. The drinks are solid and a good spread of options. My family and I visited this place on 6/25/23 about 4pm. I got Brussels spouts and they were good to me. I also tried honey old bay wings based on the recommendation of the waitress and they were blah. The buffalo chicken dip is creamy and good the pita chips is a great accommodation. The chicken strip kids meal was MASSIVE my grandchildren didn’t like it . I got the salmon and the ends were salty but the middle was bland I was not impressed. I had another party that accompanied me taste it and she didn’t agree maybe the appetizers I ate before this dish altered my taste buds. My family got the crab cakes and neither ate them in the restaurant. I tasted them and they were filled with fillers...
Look, if you live outside the city and this is a convenient location for you to grab brunch or get a big group together, go for it and you’ll have a totally good time. However, in comparison to so many other options right in Baltimore or DC the food is very meh. Crab Benedict was bland, fruit salad was almost all melon and some soft grapes with 1-2 pieces of pineapple. Side garden salad was probably my favorite food I had. Bonus points for the size, the staff service level, and the drink selection, but I would not return for the food which is the main reason for me to go to a restaurant.
I liked the atmosphere more than I liked the food. The short rib sliders were an unexpected pleasure. The crab dip, well, it was pretty crabless. My daughter had some wings. I didn't have any but they looked big and juicy so I ordered some to-go. They weren't so big and juicy but the celery sticks were delicious. My main dish was the salmon in some type of sauce over a bed of rice. The salmon was pretty unspectacular. I liked the sauce but I think I would like it better with chicken. It wasn't fantastic. But it wasn't bad. I would like to try it again.

This place was amazing! Highly recommended! Cute set up from the Friendly's it was before. The outdoor patios looked fun for when they have live entertainment. Wait staff was very nice and the bar area looked stocked. The food was delicious and made the choice based on what we seen ordered around us, and wasn't disappointed, we got the deviled eggs, crab dip, and turkey sandwhich. Will definitely be back!!
OMGeee we loved it!! Just happened to stop in because we were in the area and hungry for breakfast and an adult beverage. State Fare did not disappoint!! The full bar was open. Bathrooms were clean. Artwork was great!! Kristina was amazing! The food was great and I took some home to my daughter. We will definitely go back when it’s warm for the outdoor seating and live band.
This place was pleasant. The food was fresh. Great server. Seating is inside and outside. A DJ came in he was good. But the rapp music was distasteful for a restaurant. It turned into a party at 10 pm. The sound was good. I would rent the DJ for an event but change the music. I plan to go back.
Omgosh the breakfast/brunch was excellent. I went with my husband and three of our kids. None of which ate from the kids menu, though. Everything was so good! Especially the outside seating and the service. Lex was great! Fast, friendly, accurate. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Food is no longer good. No longer a family friendly restaurant. Very ghetto. They are trying to turn it into a night club. A lot of fights and police activity.
Service was excellent. We came for lunch and stayed for happy hour. All of the food was fresh and delicious. #DivaSaidSo
