We are from our of town staying at motel decided to have what we thought would be a nice dinner here. Evening started out great our first drinks were fantastic ... staff was helpful and friendly. We got our food and it was delicious until my second drink showed up I took a sip and proceeded to spit my drink out and pull out a very large long black hair out of my drink ... trying. It to gag or throw up (my girlfriend has blond hair as well as our server so not sure where it came from . At this point I have totally lost my appetite (still trying not to gag ...so was unable to finish my meal ... we were on patio so I went in to inform bartender and asked to send our server out as we were done ,...
We are fairly new to the area and have been enjoying State Main a couple times a month. Last night from the time we walked in the door it was different. We had a reservation and we were a couple minutes early. The hostess said could we wait 5 minutes, she had to clear a table, we looked in the restaurant and there were 7 empty clean tables already, we thought this was strange but we stood there. We always make a reservation because I have mobility issues and cannot stand for too long. Next, the table they sat us at was very dirty and we had to ask to have it washed. I absolutely love everything about this restaurant. The service was a little slow during the busy hours, but the food was definitely worth the wait. The place is clean and has a great vibe with good music. I asked the server for her opinion on salmon versus steak, and she recommended the fish. However, there was a slightly dry patch in the salmon, which makes me curious about the steak. Despite that, I highly recommend this place and would consider coming back.
This restaurant never disappoints. Went for lunch to enjoy the amazing October weather and was pleased to see all the flowers gone from the patio so I could enjoy,since bee allergies usually don 't make this possible. Our server was fantastic checking that all was ok. Unfortunately the bees arrived as I was enjoying my frozen fruity drink. Not my greatest experience. We ordered burger and sweet potato fries. The fries we got were regular fries with way to much garlic salt. But they were hot and fresh and the burger was good so we ate them. We did let the waitress know. She warned us the A/C was acting up which made the floor very slippery for both guests and staff. And the music was a bit loud for us. So will probably wait a while before giving them another visit
The service was very slow, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and differed from what was described on the menu. The menu mentioned asparagus, but the dish came with broccoli instead. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last! I was not impressed at all.
The dinner was fantastic, and the service was excellent. The only problem was that the table next to us was quite close; the guy sitting there had his arm practically touching mine. We couldn’t help but overhear their loud conversation, which made it difficult for us to talk at all. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable dinner.
My friend use to talk about about State Main all the time so I stopped in for dinner last night and the food was delicious! Price was great. 2 drinks, 2 mains (including steak) and dessert came to about $100. It was so good. Service was great too. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Held our grandmothers 90th bday brunch celebration our waitress (Taylor) was very helpful, friendly and accommodating, the food tasted great, and we would definitely recommend going
