This Café is near the shores of Lake Constance. The owners took the old train station and turned it into a romantic Victorian-style café and shop. The decor is very captivating, but more importantly the cakes they have are scrumptious! I had a piece of still-warm chestnut-chocolate chip cake and thought I´d died and gone to heaven!!! Friends had the prune plum cake and also raved about that. The café has a terrace that overlooks the Untersee part of the lake. The service was friendly and efficient. Definitely worth getting off the ferry or train for a delightful interlude.
Am Ende des Jahres 2016 musste Karin Länzlinger aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ihr "Station Unique" schließen. Ein großer Verlust für all die Besucher, die dieses wirklich einzigartige Bistro besucht haben. Man wurde immer wieder aufs Neue überrascht und verwöhnt. Man spürte, dass hier überall Menschen mit viel Herzblut am Werk waren und ihr oberstes Ziel war es, dass sich die Gäste rundum wohl fühlten. Es war eine Oase, das kleine Station Unique, und ich vermisse es sehr. Vielen Dank an Karin.
We stayed in the top floor apartment of Station-Einzigartig. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped with spectacular views of the lake. The cafe/restaurant was charming - with beautiful decor, delicious food and lovely, friendly staff. It was a pleasure to stay here and eat in the restaurant. Highly recommended.
On a cycle day trip from Konstanz, DE, we were caught in a rainstorm and used that as an excuse for a coffee stop - I'm so glad we did! The cafe is great and reasonably priced (CHF 12 for three hot drinks) and we liked sitting looking over the Untersee and train line.
Das muss man gesehen und erlebt haben. Die selbst gemachten Kuchen ein Traum, mir fehlen einfach die passende Worte tolle Aussicht zum Bodensee und das Personal super freundlich
Klein aber fein. Persönliche, "familiäre Atmosphäre,unkompliziert,bescheiden. Eine alternative Abwechslung für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Mit viel Liebe eingerichtet.
Einfache gute Küche. Am Nachmittag gibt es Kuchen und Kaffee, das ist gut. Leider sind die Öffnungszeiten sehr kurz.
