This used to be a great place to order food, but not anymore. This is the second time in a row that my fries were missing. My drink also spilled and leaked everywhere. The driver took a long time to arrive, and by the time I got my food, it was cold. The burger buns were burnt, and they served them anyway. I paid $28 for a single cold cheeseburger that was barely edible, and everything else was either missing or ruined. I really dislike having to leave a review like this.
I was disappointed with my experience at Steak N Shake. My order was wrong, and I had to remind the staff that I had already paid for a drink. The food quality did not meet the standards of my past visits. Unfortunately, this will be my last time eating here. On an earlier visit, a young man was standing near the order window burping repeatedly, which was unpleasant. When I asked to speak to a manager, a staff member said she could be the manager.
I received all of my food extremely cold. The delivery driver had to wait over 20 minutes for the order, and even though he arrived promptly, the food was not hot at all. It wasn't the driver's fault. Additionally, the milkshake was terrible; it had an unpleasant aftertaste. I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this restaurant.
Walked in and found only a kiosk to place orders. Tried three of the four options, none worked, and an employee on break said the fourth might work. It didn’t. I ordered a hot dog combo through DoorDash, and unfortunately, the hot dog was inedible; it was completely burnt and charred. When I attempted to contact the restaurant to report the problem, they kept answering the call and then hanging up right away. I would not recommend this place.
My burger was missing half the toppings it was supposed to have, and the fries were only a half portion. Steak n Shake used to be one of my favorite quick burger spots, but honestly, it's better to dine in and get the full experience rather than saving a few dollars.
It was alright; I haven't been there in many years. A lot has changed—there's no more waitress service. You place your order at a kiosk, similar to McDonald's. They bring your food to you, and then you find a seat. I really wish they still had that taco salad.

The staff was excellent, and the food was delightful. The manager was very friendly and accommodating.
