Diese Location in Steiner Rapperswil verfügt über einen begehbaren Tresen und einen hohen Tisch mit hohen Hockern am Fenster, während die gegenüberliegende Seite des Ortes einen Tischservice und eine komplette Speisekarte anbietet. Ich überflog die vielen verlockenden Desserts, Gebäck, Kekse, Brote und Sandwiches und entschied mich für ein Stück Kuchen (4,30 CHF), das ich an der Kasse bezahlte, dann nahm ich meinen Platz auf der viel größeren und vollserviceorientierten Seite des Cafés ein und bestellte auch einen heißen Tee (4 CHF), der mit einem frischen Keks serviert wurde. Der Kuchen war ziemlich interessant, da er in der Mitte mit Früchten geschichtet und auch oben drauf mehr davon hatt...
this is a traditional bakery that also offers breakfast and lunch. whereas as a bakery, it is a highly advisable palce, as restaurant it's just average. for breakfast (they do not offer anyting different than what other backerei cafeteria serve you in rapperswil) steiner is...in line with swiss preferences: pastries, good coffee and juices, but don't ask for fried or scrambled eggs (and this is one the things you'll miss in rapperswil and won't find here). as a lunch restaurant, they offer standard menu of the day and other easy-making dishes. service is polite and prices are average.

Immer einen guten Kaffee, freundlicher Service und schöne Kuchen. Ich habe hier noch nie gegessen, aber wir machen immer einen Stopp in Rapperswil. Das Personal ist freundlich, nicht alle sprechen Englisch, aber das ist gut, wenn man hier in der Schweiz ist. Immer voll mit Leuten beim Mittagessen...und hausgemachten Sandwiches.
Always a good coffee, friendly Service and lovely cakes. Never had lunch here, but when in Rapperswil we will always stop here. Staff are friendly, not all speak English but that is fine - you are in Switzerland here. Always busy with People having lunch and homemade sandwiches
Besuch hier zum Frühstück am 21. Oktober 2018. Es war sehr voll am Morgen, weil in Rapperswil an diesem Tag ein "Fun Run" stattfand. Grundlegende Schweizer Backwaren zum Frühstück. Brot und Backwaren mit Kaffee und Säften. Frisch, aber nichts Besonderes.
Nice ambiente and good patries. The location is good But maybe it is a bit too commercial for my taste . It is Not only a pastry shop But as u can dine at a reasonable price. Id rrather prefer a simple pastry shop.But this...only my opinioni

Good for a quick meal for a very reasonable price. They have some great salads and "fitness dishes". Try the "Hot Grill Salad". Quite cheap lunch meals. Not the romantic ambiente but good for lunch. Also quite cheap breakfast menus.
