About 1 kilometre from the Route des crêtes des Vosges, this hostel is in the middle of nature facing a superb panorama. Very nice smiling welcome. I preferred to have lunch inside than on the sunny terrace. I started with a homemade kir with dandelion, then the very hearty cheese menu with cheese prepared on site. The entrance to the Munster was delicious, but we didn't want to unveil the chef's secret. To finish, a nice piece of homemade pie with quetsches. All of this, very carefully prepared with fresh products. You should not hesitate to take this small road to reach this inn.
We went there this noon when we came back from Gerardmer, we turned a little by chance. And what a good chance. The charming mountain-side farmhouse offers a magnificent view of the Munster valley. We ate near cows, a fantastic view, a delicious and hearty meal and pleasant service. Anyway, a farm inn I'm classing among my favorites. The night in the trailer with this view must be great. Thanks for the moment.
Fortunately no change for many years, the peat remains the best of the chaumes, long life at the cook, and the perfect welcome. Authenticity still there despite the disappearance of the fountain on the terrace.. Nice setting to the standards of sanitary impeccables. For some years you can spend the night on site in an unusual carulotte with stunning views of this unforgettable panorama.
Terrible thing to do, I told you no one's coming in here to eat, we got into a pretty busy parking lot, at least 22 men at the restaurant, unfortunately, no money's nicked, luckily with us, because pins can't make sense. So 2x omelet, together a white cheese dessert, with honey, very tasty. Nice staff one, despite the road towards it, definitely worth eating.

The dishes are hearty. The delicious peat and kirsch cheese. On the other hand, I regret to see a chickenhouse where the chickens have no grass while the meadows are very green all around. They lack space and enter under a sheet to protect themselves from the sun. Tristes conditions. The smell was pestilential. I can't stay without saying anything.
We have come from time to time in this farm and we are never disappointed, I have tasted other things this time, and I am delighted.,MM, damage that the quantity remains minimal for the fleischnaka (duel in the plate a 3rd would have been welcome! The service was pleasant.
Very good local cuisine. Warm welcome yet without having made a reservation. Perfect marcaire menu, even for a gourmet! Beautiful panorama from the terrace. (See check or liquid, no network for CB)
