We had the caprese, the mushroom angel hair, squash fettuccine, and cannoli. My mom was super excited about the caprese because she is vegan AF and doesn’t often see a vegan version on any menus, but this salad was lacking. An interesting presentation but didn’t have any real taste. Good for insta though. The pastas were delish but I think that’s just because they were soooo salty. I literally drank three glasses of water while eating my mushroom pasta. As for the cannoli...it was ok. The ice cream that accompanied it tasted like your generic tofutti vanilla and given this the price is kind of insane $15). Overall a bit of a disappointment. High prices for food that isn’t so good. But great...
Wow ate the whole menu last night! Master Chef Dino takes vegan cuisine to another level with his creativity so you don’t experience “lack of” be rather something unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. Not to sound cheesy but it’s true! And yet, his food is super comforting in it’s warmth and soulfulness. From the carrot dip, to the caprese “crostini” (brilliant! , to the mushroom capellini (still drooling , to the squid ink cherry risotto (loved it! , to his famous cannoli hard to say which was my favourite dish but it was all truly...mindblowingly wonderful. Atmosphere is cozy, good music, friendly service. Hope Stella becomes a mainstay! (STELLAAAA!!!
food was horrible, i am pretty sure there's at least a box of salt in each dish. That was all I could taste and it was horrible. Feeling unwell after eating there. I had the squash pasta but it did not taste like squash at all .It was all just regular noodles swimming in sauce salty horrific sauce. I do not recommend this place. Not worth hype. Could I get my money back PLEASE.
I find most vegan restaurants have a casual, bright, cafe vibe but Stella has a cozy upscale feel, totally suitable for special occasions or getting a little dressed up. The menu is small and unique, while I found everything we tried delicious I wouldn 't recommend Stella for a light diet friendly meal. Stella Resto was the perfect place for my partner and I to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. It was ambiant and our hostess was absolutely lovely. As long time vegans with a particular fondness for Italian culture and cuisine, Stella Resto exceeded expectations. The Three Mushroom Capellini is legitimately the best thing I have EVER tasted and the wine paired perfectly.
Lovely food and atmosphere; it is on the smaller side but reserving a table was super easy! but you can expect nothing but great food and cocktails. Hands down the best vegan Italian cuisine I've had yet, hope to see another Stella pop up sometime !
Rating low because my pasta was gummy and overcooked. I loved Dino on Masterchef and was hoping to be impressed. Staff were wonderful and the music and atmosphere were also great. We had some lovely cocktails too!
awful, bland, gloopy, overcooked pasta. weird cold fried greasy wonton wrappers with cold too sweet carrot dip appetizer. one main was comped as it was practically inedible. really gross and so disappointing. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Nice and cozy place for Italian Vegan food. In the picture is the cannoli. The soup is delicious! The mushroom capellini is really good. The Squash fettuccine is out of this world
