had the pleasure to try stephenson's market plaice yesterday. we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to leave a review as soon as possible. they have the opportunity to take away or eat. we ate in the restaurant in the upper floor, which is beautifully decorated and very clean. the young man who served us was friendly and polite. our drinks and eating came fast and looked amazing. two of my party went for traditional cod chips, with me went for the 'whopper' size. there is a big difference, so if you want to get the big size, make sure you have a place! overall we couldn't rate this restaurant high enough. next time we're in the opposite, we'll return.
Pathetically tiny portion and I'd ordered large, it twas obviously turned down by a previous customer as it was also pre wrapped why ? I've never come across this before , the food here is of a high quality although Ive always found the measly amount of chips tendered off-putting , I refused to be served a toddlers portion size , even smaller than usual in fact I've never in my 65 years of using chip shops nationwide been given a prewrapped portion. I'm.gluten amd dairy intolerant and was really excited to find this place. The food was delicious Food to die for! The guy who served us, was very friendly. Dietary restrictions: Cater for gluten free folk! Fantastic! Fish and chip lunch in restaurant upstairs. Was absoloutely beautiful. Price was very reasonable, very clean and really good friendly service. Would definitely recommend.
