I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and the made-to-order lunches are consistently excellent. The Hot Sour Soup is particularly delightful. The portions are generous, and the owners are very gracious. The only thing to keep in mind is that they only accept cash or local checks, but that's not a problem if you're prepared for it. Small businesses face high fees for accepting credit and debit cards, so it's important to support your local independent entrepreneurs.
I’ve been coming to Stir Fry Express since it opened. Food has typically been good for what it is, but for a short time in 2022 it was not good. I wondered if my days of eating here were over. I’m guessing they had supplier issues and were forced to substitute items (like the chicken in the sesame chicken. Fast forward to August of 2023. I decided to give them another shot. My food was just as I remembered it pre-pandemic. Phew! Food: 4
The family-run team does an excellent job with cleanliness, portion sizes, flavor, and service. There's always a wonderful group of hardworking young ladies at the front. Year after year, they continue to impress. I recommend telling the young men at church to stop by for the food—they’ll get the chance to meet these high school and college ladies who are dedicated and truly exceptional. The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. Their Fried Rice is the best I've had. Most of their business seems to be takeout, so the decor isn't particularly impressive, but it doesn't really matter. The kitchen looks very clean, and the service is quick. Service: Takeout, Meal Type: Dinner.
The restaurant looks exactly the same as it did over 10 years ago, but the flavors aren't quite what they used to be. Nonetheless, it's still a good place for takeout at a fair price. Just remember, they only accept cash or checks!
