My family and I have been coming here for many years and always had an outstanding meal at Stockholm's. But last week we had a huge disappointment. My son and I ordered the porkchops which was always great; would melt in your mouth. But our porkchops were so tough that even their best steak knife was a challenge to cut. Since their cook who lived in Park Ridge left Stockholm's , their food is so disappointing. Even their famous French onion soup is like water. All of my families meals were pitiful. A good cook sure makes the difference.
For this review I have to say….. Wow. Stockholm stopped in while sight seeing with my father in law while visiting from ca. we stopped in for a drink but when we learned the soup of the day was a 3 sausage blend we happily opted to try a cup with a cold beer… it didn’t disappoint! The kale sausage soup was AMAZING Our waitress let us know that it was among the top 3 requested amongst customers Great atmosphere and friendly staff HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I first tried this place in 2021 at a street fest, the owners had a few different drink options and even an alcoholic root beer. I tried it at the fest and was informed of this location. Since 2021, I have frequented this place with friends, family, and on dates, I have never been let down by any of the staff, food, or drinks. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is absolutely delicious, the service was amazing, atmosphere is beautiful and clean. They brew their own beers which are incredible. Food is fabulous, staff is friendly and excellent at what they do. I love the pub atmosphere, casual with excellent food. They also brew their own beer! I love their Seafood Risotto and their Gourmet BLT. Burgers are fabulous too.
The best food in Geneva! The staff is wonderful, the reward program is fantastic. I want someone to explain to me how their risotto is perfect every time. Every single time. It might be voodoo. But I don't care. It's my favorite.
Michael the owner was a pleasure to talk with introduced him self to us and gave us some history on the bar! Had the meatballs fresh and hot!!
