We hosted our daughter's wedding at this venue. It’s a stunning place, but the customer service was quite poor. Fortunately, the day was wonderful for our family, but the service issues cast a shadow over an otherwise lovely occasion. The banquet room had the potential to be perfect for many future clients, but given our experience, we wish we had chosen the ballroom instead. We would have had more space, better food, and improved service for the same cost.
The food and the venue are excellent, but the hospitality was disappointing. The woman in charge is quite rude. I cannot recommend this place simply because unkindness and rudeness are not appropriate on your child’s wedding day. Additionally, they modified their pricing; by the end, the cost per plate increased from $12.50 to $19.
We dined there last night, and I had one of the best ribeye steaks I've enjoyed in quite some time. It was cooked to perfection. My wife had an excellent catfish filet as well. The service was great, so we definitely plan to return soon. We also overheard compliments coming from nearby booths.
I was disappointed with my steak; I ordered it medium rare, but it arrived well done. My daughter-in-law asked for hers medium well, and unfortunately, it was also well done. We had an amazing experience at the Sunday Brunch Buffet today. The food was not from a package; it was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The biscuits were possibly the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere was charming, and this restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the small town.
