I’ve never encountered a more polite waiter. She explained each dish on the menu in detail, sharing how she prepared them and the ingredients used. The drink selection was just as impressive. The atmosphere was enhanced by lovely ambient music. This restaurant is one of my friend’s parents’ favorite spots, and it’s quickly became one of mine as well. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too hungry to wait, and the food was absolutely amazing—cooked to perfection!
This restaurant offers a classic, timeless dining experience. The service and food have a charming old-school feel. The wine list is just what you would hope for, and the beer selection has expanded over time. The menu features a wide variety, from poultry and seafood to a strong emphasis on meats. The decor is elegantly arranged, making it a fantastic venue for celebrations.
I made reservations with some friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. We started off at the bar for drinks and I ordered a large dirty martini, made with hand-stuffed blue cheese olives (none of that jarred stuff!). We had a fantastic time in a cozy and charming atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the food and dessert were fantastic!
Classy place with a long history. This is the place for the very best turtle soup. Extensive menu and wine list. Superb wait staff. Fabulous Restaurant, whose general experience never disappointed. The dinner service (food and staff) was impressive and thus a treat all around. Very recommended to book a table to enjoy the culinary delights and cozy atmosphere.
Excellent is all aspects--food, atmosphere, service! You can dine in a more formal dining room, or order from the full menu in the cozy bar. Steaks and seafood were excellent. Oysters were fantastic. Price was very reasonable!
I suggest trying to call the restaurant ahead of time as the phone seems to ring indefinitely. This could be a indication of their poor customer service. Despite having a reservation, we waited 10 minutes before being seated.
