Wide selection of cigars and beverages available, keep in mind there is no food. Prices as you would expect at any bar keep in mind you have to buy a drink while you are there. Location is fantastic, in the heart of the city and very lively during the weekends, with a lovely view of the streets on the balcony seating. Lots of seating options whether its a booth, on the balcony or in the center tables with large comfortable sofas. Overall the presentation of the lounge is very pleasant, and moody. Staff is helpful and accomodating. Overall a great place.
I spent about 5 hours at Stogies Cigar Lounge, enjoying two cigars—an R.P. Championship and one I brought with me. I ordered a latte, a Stella Artois, and a double Maker's Mark bourbon, totaling around $100. It felt a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was perfect and the service outstanding; they promptly changed ashtrays when needed and the waitress checked in regularly to make sure everything was fine. I highly recommend Stogies Cigar Lounge, especially if you bring your own cigars since their menu prices can be steep.
A beautiful selection of Cuban cigars, and some new world as well (Honduran and Nicaraguan). To drink, a good collection of whiskies and scotch, draft beer, and coffee. In a cozy atmosphere, with extremely attentive service. In the winter they will offer to bring your coat on the upstairs floor to limit exposure to smoke. It’s also a very nice place from which to admire “Tower of Song”, the Leonard Cohen mural by Montréal artist Gene Pendon and internationally renowned American street portrait artist El Mac.
Stogies is one of my go-to spots for unwinding. While drink prices can vary a bit and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned, the experience is still enjoyable. It can get a little smoky now and then, but that's part of the charm. The staff are friendly and have a great sense of humor. Nice place to enjoy a cigar. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Extremely good selection of bourbon and scotch. Bring your own cigar there is no cut fee but buying a drink is required at reasonable price. Nevertheless, they have Cuban cigars to choose. Nice techno music on background just a bit load for a conversation.
My go to cigar lounge when I'm in Montreal. Walk in humidor, great selection and rotation of cigars and a staff that really knows their tobacco and blends. Same with their hard/ classy beverage selection, I'm told that also had a great rotation. Oban for me and a dark Bolivian please.
What a great atmosphere and incredible selection of cigars! The balcony overlooking crescent and all the people was a plus but the service topped it all. Super friendly waitresses and drinks served FAST! Our group had a blast. We will be back
