Spent a little under an hour at ICONA at one of their indoor bars (I believe it was level1) on Friday September 8th (weekend after Labor Day weekend). This was choice number 2 as our first choice didn't work out due to the bar being over-crowded during a wedding. We arrived a little after 6pm and got street parking along the athletic fields. The parking lot was busy, as was the rooftop bar and one of the inside bars (another wedding being hosted). The property is very nice and enormous. Booked a 4 bedroom condo. What they don't tell you is how miserable the bathroom situation will be. One bathroom attached to master bedroom. Is ridiculous...world's smallest bathroom. For the rest of the guests you are forced to share the bathroom with 5 other people. There isn't a half bath or anything ..so if someone needs to use the bathroom while another person is using the shower it's a trip to the bathroom in the hotel lobby. The main bathroom is also tight and small and no place to hang your to towels. Then they give you weird looks at the front desk if you want fresh towels... Miserableness. There were four of us, all adults, sharing the room. Given that we were at the beach, we didn’t expect to spend much time indoors. Unfortunately, we experienced a cold, rainy day during our short stay, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that spending a little extra time in the room was no inconvenience at all! The staff was exceptional. While we didn’t dine in the restaurant, we enjoyed coffee one morning after a chilly, wet walk on the beach, which was lovely. We also had drinks and an appetizer at the bar in the afternoon, a perfect spot to relax and catch a golf game on TV. On the morning of our checkout after a brief two-night stay, we were greeted by clear skies and warm sunshine....
We had a great experience overall! Our waiter, Frank, was fantastic and the food was delicious. Initially, we were seated outside at a table for five, which was no problem. Later in the evening, a friend joined us, making it a group of six. Frank was accommodating and rearranged our seats without any issue. However, shortly after that, a manager approached us and was quite rude, insisting that we couldn't stay at that table and that some of us would need to move inside. She left us confused and waiting without guidance. Eventually, she relocated us to a large table to finish our meal, but this incident really took away from our overall experience. I am so over the restaurants on this island. My cousin posted pictures of their sushi which looked good, so I went for some. The sushi may be photogenic, but it is very sad. The tuna and yellowtail sashimi is frozen and waterlogged it has no flavor. The shrimp sashimi is over cooked. None of the sushi is good. This is just another tourist island restaurant that has location. Seriously, if you're on this island, stick to pizza and hoagies, as I've been really disappointed in the majority of the restaurants here. I always say, would I go back here? No. A definite no.
The customer service at this place is excellent. From the front desk to the valets and the restaurant staff, everyone is attentive and helpful. However, my main concern is the price of the accommodations. This hotel feels more like a motel with some upscale touches. There's no proper lobby, and the restaurant has the vibe of a cafeteria. While the food options are decent, they are quite limited, especially after 7 PM.
Live music, delicious fish tacos, and fun drinks made for a perfect end to a beach day! The wings were incredible, and the cauliflower wings were a standout as well. Our server was very friendly, adding to the overall great experience!

Worst service ever. Bar was not even full. Andrew and Savanna were too busy chatting with each other to give us service. We left and will never be back
