Stoney Point Bar Grill is a hidden gem in the hills of Pasadena. Located just off the 134 Fwy., Stoney Point offers an Italian menu in a cozy traditional Italian setting. There is a main dining room which offers intimate dinners or a dining space next tothe bar for a more casual, social setting. There is a piano in this dining space. The bar is fun and lively. Locals come andhave a quick bite at the bar, and it did seem as if everyone knew everyone! Service is spot on! Guests are immediately greetedwith a Brushetta toast and tomato. We enjoyed the Crab Cake appetizer, the Lobster Ravioli and a evening special plate ofHalibut. The fish special we could not finish. Not fresh, and over cooked....
After many years of passing by Stoney Point Grill on our way to the 134, my husband, friends, and I finally decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed both friendly and professional service, along with inventive and delicious cuisine. We sampled the crab cake, San Rafael salad, pork chops, lemon chicken, and spaghetti with sausage, all of which were fantastic. The salad had a vinaigrette that I can't wait to replicate at home. Excellent experience overall—we will definitely be back!
After many years of looking at the restaurant as we passed it on the 134, my husband invited friends, and we went to experience Stoney Point. What a pleasant surprise to receive both gracious and experienced service as well as inventive and delightfulcuisine. We had crab cakes, San Rafael salad, pork chops, lemon chicken, and spaghetti with sausage. All of the choices weredelicious. The salad had a brandy vinaigrette that I will now try making at home. Excellent. We will be back.
The food is terrific! The staff are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The bartender knows how to make a great cocktail. Stoney Point has become our go-to restaurant for a wonderful meal to celebrate special occasions, or just for a great steak.They are also our new New Year 's Eve take-out place during the pandemic. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant ina hidden corner of Pasadena.

If I could choose one restaurant to eat at for the rest of my life, it would be this one. The service was outstanding, and the waitstaff were all exceptionally friendly. The food was delicious and catered to every taste.

Classic and classy joint in South Pas. My husband took me here and we shared the calamari. I had the gnocchi and it was excellent. When I came here I didn't feel like I was in 2025. It was a refreshing experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
