The restaurant is now managed by the children of the previous owner, who ran it as a buffet. After moving away, I returned for the first time in a couple of years. The place has been completely remodeled and is now smaller inside, no longer operating as a buffet. It's very clean and has a nice atmosphere. The quality of the food is significantly better compared to the buffet style it used to offer, which is reflected in the slightly higher prices. I tried the General Tso's chicken, which was freshly made, along with fresh fried rice. The egg roll was also freshly fried and wonderfully crispy.
When my food arrived, I was disappointed—see the picture for evidence. The crab legs were the smallest I’ve ever seen, and they didn't even have lemons available. To make matters worse, my crawfish was completely forgotten. I tried to eat the crab, but there was hardly any meat, and the sauce was not enjoyable at all. By the time I gave up on the meal, my crawfish still hadn't arrived, so I just asked them to cancel the order. I definitely will not be returning. I’d rather make the drive to Kickin’ Crab on Olive.
As a first-time customer, my experience with the service started off a bit rocky since the restaurant was virtually empty. However, the server returned with a much friendlier demeanor, which greatly improved the experience. The food was excellent—fresh and served hot. I really enjoyed the house bread, although I’m not a fan of mayonnaise, so it would be great if that could be optional. Overall, I definitely plan to return soon. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is suitable for children.
This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced. Our server completely overlooked us, likely because they knew a 20% tip was guaranteed due to their large party policy (there were five of us). We contacted management, but all we received were excuses. St. Louis has plenty of fantastic seafood restaurants, so there's really no reason to choose this one.

The customer service was excellent. However, the frozen fried shrimp were overcooked and not enjoyable. The crab boil was also disappointing. I left feeling like I wasted my money. This is my second visit, and the food still doesn't meet the high prices. I won't be coming back.
This place is now my dad's favorite to go to since Joe's crab shack closed some years ago. He's been looking forward to another seafood place that offers the boils/pots of assorted seafood this place hit all the right marks.
The crab legs were fantastic! However, the staff was significantly understaffed, which made service a bit lacking. Additionally, the restrooms were quite unclean.
It was a slow day for them. We came in this afternoon. The food was hot, seasoned perfectly, and delicious. Our server too very good care of us.
