My wife and I love this place,we try to have a supper at least once a week, the batter on the fish is the best, we get a fish and a half split between us, and it's more than enough,and we will have a fish supper to take home tonight, I, m salivating just thinking about it, if you have not tried their fish suppers, I suggest you do, you won't be disappointed, we regularly travel from Brechin and its well worth the visit,
My faith in fish and chips has been restored! I really enjoyed chatting with the owners. The fish was freshly fried to order and carefully wrapped, ensuring it stayed crispy during our journey. The fish is fresh, sourced from Peterhead, and is neither frozen nor caught by Russian or Chinese trawlers. I also bought a book from their impressive collection of used books, CDs, and DVDs.
The best fish and chips I've ever had! The food is freshly cooked to order, so it’s always delicious and piping hot. The portions are very generous and reasonably priced. Irene and her partner are incredibly friendly and always greet you with a smile. Highly recommended!

really nice atmosphere at the place, made it very welcoming. the fish was cooked to order and was fantastic, the chips were also good, and at a reasonable price.
