We visited this restaurant with small kids for lunch today. While the food was excellent and on par with any top Indian restaurant, the experience was soured by the staff’s initial behavior. We called an hour in advance to confirm their hours and were told they were open until 3 PM. However, when we arrived at 2:32 PM, they initially refused to serve us, claiming the restaurant was closing in 30 minutes. After a heated discussion, they agreed to serve us, and the food was ready in just 10 minutes. The food itself was delicious, and the chef, who personally came out to greet us, was very polite and friendly. Overall good experience. There is a wide vegan selection, specifically marked on the menu and it also tastes very good. However, you have to check or specify carefully when ordering: one of the daily specials (M6) explicitly said (vegan) on the menu, but when it was served it proudly boasted of two fried eggs. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he didn 't understand our objection at first. After a bit of explanation back and forth, the dish was then exchanged without any problems for a completely vegan version (in which the waiter even explained what other ingredients were in it, probably as a precaution). That 's why the star deduction. Good restaurant, but the understanding of “vegan”...
Wow! All the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. All dishes ordered were of the highest quality in terms of taste and quality and can be recommended without reservation. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely appropriate. The great ambience makes the food even more authentic. Before leaving the restaurant, I was even helped into my coat by an employee and we were greeted with thanks by the entire team and escorted out. Thank you for this great experience!
Finally an Indian restaurant that convinces me. Went here for the first time today and ordered two dosa dishes and the taste was incredibly good. The service was super nice and accommodating. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back. I would also like to mention that I spent a few months in India and therefore have higher taste standards, which were absolutely met here. Highly recommended, everything is perfect here. The food is super tasty , there were even fellow countrymen in the restaurant which says a lot. I can only give all the stars.
Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam. Zum Abschluss bekamen wir einen Likör serviert, was ich als eine sehr nette Geste empfand.
Ich habe schon bessere indische Küche gegessen. Eher etwas für Touristen, die einmal dort essen und dann nicht wiederkommen.
