The portions are incredibly generous—almost absurdly so! During the summer months, I only opt for cups because there's no way to eat my cones or bowls quickly enough before they melt all over my hand! I typically get a single scoop of Praline Pecan, while my wife enjoys a double scoop with Blue Moon on the bottom (which you can't see) and Super Moon on top. This store has been a small child 30 years ago) and its still so good and better more flavors) with Eye Popping portions at a very reasonable price. $16 in front of top for 3 double buttons in cups) Baskin-Robbins must take a lesson of straw in portions. The staff here is very friendly, and the shop is clean with indoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this Stroh's offers Sander's hot fudge cream puffs and sells their cakes too! I will definitely be returning.

Strohs is the ideal neighborhood ice cream shop. With friendly service, delicious ice cream, and a pleasant atmosphere, it's a true classic in Wyandotte. These days, I usually opt for one of their no-sugar-added options.
Amazing ice cream and super fast service. Fair warning they are very generous on the scoops (for example 1 scoop to them is like 2 and a half scoops) which was awesome! Highly recommended this place!
