I’ve been coming to Strong Hearts since before I was fully vegan. I lived in Rochester and would have to work in Syracuse at times, and I think it was around 2013 when I found them. I went from stopping by on road trips through the ‘cuse to making special trips out there because I love it that much! My next visit to the area isn’t until the spring and I’m already plotting on how I’m going to get my fix! I was hooked on the Thai iced tea for a while bc that’s hard to come by as a vegan. so many people talked about strong hearts, so I thought we had to try. I always love to try mac and can be if I go out because I like to see how it is done. so many Rave reviews about the milkshakes, so we had to get some. as a vegan, I get used to the old Burger-Deal, so we tried a few menu items that were not burgers that looked good. on her recommendation we got the shawarma, and we also got the chicken wings and the T.N.T. as someone who had vegan eating that my life was almost changed (not dramatic to be) and a huge eating self, I would say about the half of what we ordered was incredible. the wings were crazy (ordered gluten-free), and the diving sauce was incredible. the T.NT was incr...
we found strong hearts looking for a midday place during a road trip. I am looking forward to stopping again on the way to home! great selection — it was hard to choose only one thing, so I got two. the makkaroni and cheese were satisfied. the reuben was one of the best I ever had. the sown brot was brilliant, and it was so buttery. I was glad they had a child menu so my daughter could get a perfect meal. the cupcakes were also excellent – perfect texture, and my non-vegan man could not say that they were vegan. the staff was very friendly, and the owner/manager was really cool and so sweet for my daughter. We wish to live closer, but we will definitely stop when we are in the city.
I was recommended this place by a friend of mine who’s a Syracuse native. As a vegan, I was absolutely blown away by their delicious food! Their mozzarella sticks are TO DIE FOR and are one of the best vegan alternatives to cheese I’ve ever had. Their mac and cheese was phenomenal too, and such a wonderfully kind staff. Great stop on our road trip through Syracuse. We had the kale chicken caesar and the chicken parm with the berry smoothie and all was delicious! Also the food is extremely reasonably priced. They had a bunch of flavors of cupcakes as well. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
the personal was wonderful. the food was delicious! great selection. the restaurant itself was bright and clean. eco friendly food and go packing. small parking directly opposite the restaurant. just a few blocks from syrakus and SUNY campuses.
I was visiting from Chicago and was so pleased with this resturant I went twice. The food was fresh made to order and their cupcakes were delicious. This will be my vegan goto when in Syracuse.

Wow. The Thai salad is one of the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a trip to Syracuse to try this funky place.
