This restaurant is part of the Hotel Bahia del Duque complex. Whilst we were staying at the hotel we visited this restaurant twice. The first visit was great, my starter of broken eggs was delicious. The main was their fish of the day which was Dorado which was very nice.we were recommended a local wine which was excellent. Service was attentive and after this visit I would rate it excellent. Our second visit was less successful. Service was slow and inattentive as our orders were mixed up. The food was also not as good with my beef over cooked. I wonder whether this was due to different staff as we believe they move about across the different restaurants on site?
Ate here whilst staying in the hotel. We were fortunate to book nights either side of the rain and so managed to eat outside in the courtyard. It is really nice, but off putting a little when other guests walk between the tables to access their rooms which is a bit strange. The service level here was possibly not as high as the other restaurants. No idea why, we just felt that it lacked polish. The food on offer is excellent, and each dish was presented superbly and tasted great. We had a minor issue when the bill arrived in that we were charged for all items despite being on the hotels half board package. This was rectified each time.
We were given a table outside, which was ok, but hidden behind a large lamp. We then waited for 25 mins before any waiter decided to acknowledge us. The food we chose was really not that appetising, looking more like road-kill and not tasting great. The local wine was ok.
Lovely Spanish restaurant, really focusing on Spanish dishes. The fish of the day was exquisite, and all beautifully served. Like all the restaurants at this hotel, individual, and did not feel like 'hotel ' dining. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food in general is not worth a visit. The meat and vegetables was okay, but the portatoes was terrible. It's a disgrase that many of the restaurants at a 5 star hotel is serving premade reheated french fries...
Good food in a nicely decoured restaurant, which is recommended if you stay at the Gran Bahía del Duque. The service level could be a bit better, which is why the core is only 3/5 though the food is better.
here you can have a taste of the real basque cuisine! Everything is amazing, from the appetizers to the desserts and wines. Paella is top. Service is warm, rapid and professional.
And lousy service too I think someone needs to take this place in hand. Very expensive as well. Such a shame in Spain to find the hotel's Spanish restaurant to be so poor. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
a spanish vibe in the plate and the choices with real creativity. food is great and of quality. very good staff even if young. excellent meal to recommend blindly.
