My husband came home upset after picking up our sandwiches from this restaurant. When I unwrapped them, I understood why he was unhappy. Despite my husband's request for the sandwiches to be filled so there wouldn't be a large gap of just bread on both ends, the young man working there seemed confused and didn't follow through. The sandwiches that others had received before us looked full and satisfying, but ours were disappointingly empty. We paid for two one foot sandwiches but received less than that. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this restaurant. I wish I could upload pictures to show how empty the sandwiches were, but I will share our experience on other platforms.
I have visited other subway's in the past and have never really been happy with any of them from poor attitudes to stale bread and sloppiness to the way the sandwich is made to refusing to honor and take the coupons that Subway sends to your mail box ! I gave up on going back to Subway . Till I decided to try one more time at this location 1201 E La Habra Blvd, In La Habra , Cailf on the Corner of Harbor Blvd La Habra Blvd. This Store is not like the others they really care of the customer. Jordan and his staff has created a excellent dining experience one that I will come back to . His store could really show a lot of other how to take care of the customer. Thanks Rick
I placed an order on the app to pickup at 8:30am and when I got to the store, the door was locked and no one was inside. Someone finally came to open the store at 8:35 and she said that they don't open until 9am. I asked why the sign on the door and the app both said 8:00am. I'm also not sure why the app would even allow me to place an order if the store was supposed to be closed. She wasn't able to answer and said she would make them right away. After 25 minutes of waiting, I knocked on the door to get my sandwiches. She would not open the door. When we called her on the phone she was told it was store policy to not open the doors until 9:00am.
Friendly staff. But the 3 stars has to be for food safety and preparation. I went it and ordered a sandwich and a soup. I noticed she went into the walk in fridge, pulled out the cup that already had the soup in it and threw it in the microwave. Idk if that's sanitary, but usually it's in the warmer ready to serve. When I went back to work, it kinda looked chunky and I had to warm it up again. I absolutely adore the sandwiches at this place. The lady who made my sandwich was very attentive to my dietary restrictions, as I don't eat meat. She promptly changed her gloves and made sure to handle my order separately from any meat products. I will definitely be returning to this spot and would highly recommend it. Compared to other places in the area, the atmosphere here is more welcoming and the service is very accommodating.
I live just a minute away from this Subway location, so it has become my go-to spot for pick-up orders. One day, I mistakenly placed an order for lunch while I was at work, which is 25 miles away. I quickly called the store to cancel the order, and they promptly called me back to confirm the cancellation. I was impressed by their responsible and efficient service.
