The cashier was really rude. Im from out of town and was trying to order a sub, and use the restroom. First there was NO ONE over on the subway side so. I walked over to the store part and one lady was waiting on a customer and the one who was supposed to be at the sub part was standing there talking to. Someone who just walked in and I said excuse me...and she turned around rudely said what! So I try to ask if she was going over to the sub side so I could order 4 subs that way while she was making them I could use the restroom. And she said in a real snappy voice we don't have a restroom and I said what? And she said I said we dont have a restroom and turned around and walked back over towa...
The cashier at this restaurant was very rude. I am visiting from out of town and was trying to order a sub and use the restroom. There was no one at the Subway counter, so I walked over to the store section where one lady was helping a customer. The employee who was supposed to be at the sub counter was standing and chatting with someone else. When I asked if she could come over to take my order, she responded rudely and said "What?" I tried to explain that I wanted to order four subs so I could use the restroom while she prepared them, but she snapped at me saying they didn't have a restroom. I was taken aback and left the restaurant to find a McDonald's nearby where we ended up eating and...
This is the second time this has happened to me at a restaurant in the last 2 weeks where they claim to be open until 9 p.m. I arrived at 8 p.m. and was told they were closed. It is no surprise that so many businesses go bankrupt these days when they are cutting their hours short like this. You can't make money if you're closing your business early.
Um.....no bathrooms????? They have food and drink, a table with seats, and a subway inside, but no bathroom? When I asked why, they said it's not a sit-in restaurant....but when I pointed to the table and asked what that was, the staff looked away. This is the second time this has happened to me at a restaurant in the past two weeks. They advertise being open until 9 o'clock, but when I arrived at 6 o'clock, they told me they were closed. It's no surprise that so many businesses are going bankrupt nowadays if they can't even stay open during their advertised hours.
The Subway restaurant now has a new owner who prioritizes food safety. I frequent this location regularly and have found that the service is quick, the ingredients are fresh, and overall it is superior to other Subway restaurants in Western Pennsylvania.
