The fact that this place carries the Subway name is a disgrace to the franchise, as almost all the others I go to are excellent. This one however is a disaster from start to finish. I came here again on the hope that my previous bad experience was a one-off nightmare...I was sadly mistaken as the previous time was better than this shambles. The staff are careless and bored acting, the sandwich was not made the Subway way...the staff member serving used the same gloves from the previous person's sandwich of an Italian BMT, after I asked for a Veggie Patty sandwich. Does this Subway handpick the most obnoxiously Instagram wannabe filthy staff members on purpose? There was one young lad who was lovely but he looked like a deer in the headlights. I asked for two sandwiches and some extras....and he froze. I went through my order slowly and he was cool. That's okay...no problem. The girl doing the salad (wow....she raised an eyebrow and cocked her head when I asked for extra jalapenos, as if I had just asked if I could poo on the counter) really should not be working anywhere near the general public ever. Not visited St Helens Subway for a long time, and was so shocked when we went upstairs to eat. It was so dirty, food and paper all over the floor, crumbs all over the seat. When I visited the toilet it was even worse, no toilet paper, sanitary wrappers on the floor and in general bits of paper everywhere. I had to mention it on the way out to the four staff behind the counter of which I didn't get much response seriously needs looking at by management.
I went into this Subway store this afternoon, November 26th 2019, and whilst waiting to be served at the counter, the lady serving on the till was actually standing there, picking her nose!!! I know, I couldn't believe it either. I had to question her, and told her how disgusting she was. Instead of saying sorry, she argued that she had a cold... Oh that's ok then, carry on putting your fingers up your nose then... I won't be going in there again!!!

Got a foot long meatball and I was totally left disappointed and very angry, the sand which was awful it only had 4 meatballs and they were hard and there was no sauce so it was very dry. I made a complaint on line using the website to which I heard nothing I could not eat the item as it was awful I for one will not be going back again I will also tell colleagues not to either the worst visit experience in a subway ever
I came for lunch and tried the ham and cheese and tuna sandwiches, but unfortunately they were out of stock of many ingredients, including basic sauces. It seemed like they had strict portion control, as my tuna sandwich had very little filling. The salad it was served with appeared to be past its prime and overall the meal was disappointing.
This restaurant does not have disabled access and there are no seating options for dining. It is a terrible place and it seems like they do not care about accommodating disabled individuals. There is an upstairs area, but no elevator, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. Overall, this restaurant is outdated and poorly managed.
I am a regular at this restaurant and I always enjoy the delicious food served with a smile by Laney. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are always accommodating.

Fantastic Subway, Never had a problem there in years of going. Staff are always brilliant, Best Subway around.
Me and my husband went for lunch excellent service and the food was excellent will be going back again soon
