Dropped in for lunch on friday after a long day on the road. Asked for a footlong and a kids pack with a roast beef sub for my son. Everything was great until we had to pay. Jodi the only staff member working rang up the items and told us the price. After paying we asked if we get the kids drink ourselves to which she replied that she didnt charge us for a kids pack. I told her i asked for one and i knew she heard me because she looked at the overhead board to make sure roast bèef was included in the deal. Why does trip advisor have reviews for fast food chain outlets. It's just like any other store in Mackay, Australia and pretty much the world. This outlet is good in that it's open very late on weekends due to the nightclub trade. I believe it's open to around 4am on Friday and Saturday depending on customer volume. It is a bit grubby at night with drunks but if you want something other then McDonalds its a good option.
This is a super, quick and healthy lunch with a lot of choice for your fillings and bread. The food is very fresh and the staff are friendly. I love the rewards card as it adds up to a free sub quite quickly.
I had my meals from here during my short stay in Mackay, quick but healthy food with vegetables. Helpful staff. Will visit Subway if I need something to eat

Subway is always good the usual and in the center of Mackay easy walk if in town from most hotels other shops and bars in area also for extras
