It's been a few years since we first visited this restaurant, and I have to say, the food was delightful. Our meal today brought back memories of the authentic Chinese dishes I used to enjoy years ago. I've noticed that the quality often fluctuates when restaurants change ownership, especially when they transition from Chinese to Korean cuisine—there are significant cultural differences in flavors. I’m not complaining at all; in fact, I'm thrilled that this place has returned to serving great Chinese food. We’ll definitely be ordering again until the next change in flavor comes along!
A few days ago, we ordered from Sue's Beijing Express for the first time, and we were very pleased. We tried the Orange Beef and the Singapore Rice Noodles. The Singapore Rice Noodles were especially delicious, easily some of the best I've ever had, especially considering they were only $9. The Orange Beef was quite good as well, but it really shone the next day after the flavors had a chance to meld. We've been on the hunt for affordable Chinese food for a while, and we didn’t find anything suitable last year. We will definitely be ordering from them again!
Delicious food at a great price! I absolutely loved the string beans, and my wife is a big fan of the shrimp foo young. The gravy can be a bit salty, but we usually dilute it with some water, and it turns out tasty. This restaurant is on the first floor of an office building, easily accessible from 28. It’s a fantastic spot for a meal with friends and family or even a quick dinner date! Enjoy!
Was the food of my childhood. Have so many beautiful memories of the place... shame that it is closed. It was good fun, General Tso. Well, forever lost to the annals of history. Nay, to the world. Rest in pieces my old friend, nary a takeout will take your place in my heart. Honour and glory friends.
