This was our first dining out experience after the COVID 19 restrictions were lifted and it was perfect! The restaurant has adapted the space so that everyone is safe, and while it’s a little less noisy than the usual hussle, the ambience is still nice and relaxing. You can now easily hear your tables conversations and not anyone else’s! The food, as always, is to die for. The raw food is so fresh and has great textures. The curries are rich and flavoursome. And the cocktails are delicious! Thanks for a great night we will definitely be back!
Even though I went with someone who was raving about it, Sugarcane exceeded my high expectations. There’s a lot of modern Asian fusion about (Chin Chin, Chubby Cheeks) to the point that you could argue it might be a tired format. Not the case here each dish was exemplary, the flavour of the food and variety was brilliant. One of those menus where you could order anything. Given the quality of the cooking and the location, very reasonably priced. The service was outstanding.
The flavours in every dish were amazing. Without a doubt the best Thai restaurant, and for that matter restaurant, that I have ever been to. The staff were so friendly and gave great recommendations on what to eat. Superb wine list too. A little pricey, so save it for special occasions. Will be coming back every chance I get.
Sugarcane is hands down best restaurant in Coogee! Bought some friends fr North Shore over and they loved it! Highly recommend the “Feed Me” degustation...seems like every divine dish on menu. Such gr8 value. Service A class as always
