Sullivan's is the place we locals would rather you peddle past. It's a little trip back in time for those of us who grew up eating fresh fish and shrimp right out of the nets. Truth is you could take your self into Mt Pleasant or down to Hyman's and pay 3 times what we pay to eat the best island food for a reasonable price, served by hardworking kids. You can't beat it. Sounds like home to me!
We chose to dine here without any suggestions from friends, family, or websites, and it turned out to be the best meal of our week-long stay in South Carolina. Sullivan's is the best seafood restaurant on Sullivan's island. The food is very reasonably priced and presented well. The staff are so very friendly and bubbly . I felt so relaxed and comfortable there, I picked Sullivan's family seafood restaurant to propose to my girlfriend. On memorial day weekend.
Every time my family and I visit Charleston, we make it a point to stop by Sullivan's Seafood. It is by far the best seafood restaurant I've ever experienced. Excellent food and service every time I’ve been there! I’ve been going ever since I was a young child. I’ll continue on the tradition. We often make the 2hr trip from Columbia just to eat at Sullivan’s! Keep up the good work Sullivan’s staff and owner! Y’all are the best in the state!
My friend and I ate here for the first time in October. My 7 layer seafood pasta was so good, my friend is still raving about his fried shrimp platter too! Even the salad italian dressing was fresh and perfect. Thanks for the great dinner experience!
Huge portions for the price. It was an awesome place. My wife and I put it on our we 'll definitely dine here again list. My wife got the Original Sullivan 's Island 7 Layered Seafood and I got the Captain 's Platter! Bottom line: we loved it!

Awesome food staff. Got there just before the huge crowd got there. Brought home a piece of Key Lime pie. I will go back. It was wonderful.
