A ramen fusion restaurant located in the same complex as the Asian Food Market. We are still on a quest to find a good ramen place in Central NJ.Ambiance: Booths all along the sides of the restaurant and a long table down the middle. It is nicely decorated and very cozy.Our order: Chicken karaage, veggie ramen, pork shogoyaki, chicken lime ramen, and japanese sausage fried rice. The chicken karaage didn't have much flavor if you didn't dip it into the sauce. It came with 2 types of dipping sauce (white lime flavored, reddish/orage slightly spicy). Why does one order pickup? See, the convenience and the estimated time of pickup helps one when they're limited by a lunch break time. Smart people, also add in extra lee-way as at times a place can get busy.Have you ever did all of that yet went to the place?Well here is a short explanation of what happened to me.Ordered Sushi at 12.Pickup said 12:25Knowing it'll take a bit I went for it at 12:35I asked for my order and was told you ordered too much sushi oh, i'm sorry is this 1) my problem? 2) a problem for the business?This falls on the business to give an appropriate pickup time. (ps: it was only 4 rolls).I left, gave them another 20 minutes, got back in and asked to speak to a manager.....
I recently tried the vegan coconut green curry ramen and vegan knödel at this restaurant, with a total cost of $21. I had read reviews praising the beautiful staff, but didn't think much of it until I experienced it myself. The staff welcomed me like family, even asking about my name as they handed me my food and engaged in a friendly conversation. The dumplings were delicious, although on the smaller side. If they were a bit bigger, I believe they would be the best in the business. The curry was also flavorful and filling, with a generous portion size. The prices were very reasonable. I have found a new favorite spot that I will be visiting weekly. I regret not discovering it sooner! I would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately Happy Cow only allows up to 4 stars for non-vegan restaurants. The vegan options here are abundant and the best around. I can't even put into words how delicious the food was - you just have to try it for yourself. The restaurant is also stunning and the staff are extremely friendly. the owner jay went beyond and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied and that I would be a returning customer who is fantastic because the restaurant is close to my home and is all vegan marked. I especially like her salate and the vegan curry. another cool thing they have are unique vegan sushi options. for me, this place is a solid choice for a fast and nutritious dinner.
would not recommend getting sushi from here. miso suppe had a blande, bitter taste. sushi was out; tasted as if it was made with smooth rice. preparation and delivery was at least fast. ramen was in order, nothing special. this was the second time we got Japanese kitchen from here; first time was not great, but wanted to give another shot. I'm sure you're with the Ichibahn.
can't say enough about this place! I get sushi every Friday night and have tried every sushi place in the opposite and humi ramen sleeps them with quality of food and amazing service away! would recommend everyone and everyone who loves amazing dining and a great atmosphere! oh and thanks for the endless spicy mayo?
Okay, get over. mediocre nudeln (no wavy and middling quality) and the broth is ok. ok sushi. the calamari and the diving sauce were the highlight. good portion sizes, beautiful service. but for the one-two punsch of price and quality, it missed the brand. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
