Not only was our server kind and fantastic, the food was phenomenal and memorable!Care and grace are so clearly defined through this space. I was in the area and decided to give this Diner a try.It’s more of a traditional old world style mom and pop diner. It’s not real big in size. They have counter seating, and then they have booths in the front and back of this diner.I was seated immediately and my server brought me hot fresh coffee and water with lemon. I then placed my order for lunch.I decided on their Chicken Roma Sandwich it comes with fries, pickle, and coleslaw grilled chicken, grilled eggplant,roasted peppers, and mozzarella on an Italian roll.It was delicious. My husband and I have been going for years, today was absolutely terrible. I ordered a sandwich and I told my waitress it's not what I excepted, it was dry and overcooked. Some other waitress gave us the check and a bag, I asked what that was and she didn't know. I proceeded to pay, I looked at my check the sandwich was still on there and I said to the owner I took a tiny bit and said why are you charging me. The owner replied I'm losing money. I left my sandwich and I'll never be back. Nice way of losing a loyal customer. I can't believe it
What a charming, vintage restaurant! I absolutely adore this place! The crab cake Benedict is one of my favorites! As for kid-friendliness, we brought our 4-year-old and 1-year-old, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and very patient with their playful antics!

IGNORE THE GOOD REVIEWS-THEYRE FROM WHEN THE OLD OWNERS WERE HERE! new owner loves to publicly humiliate her waitresses. Would never ever return just based on that. Service has sucked always anyway but the new owner should be ashamed of herself.
The food is average, but the prices are more in line with a restaurant, not a diner. The interior is charming and clean, but I wouldn’t choose to spend my money on the food here again.
We eat here almost weekly, mostly for takeout. Food is good, even to go, and staff is friendly. Just like other places there are credit card fees and takeout fees.
Let's keep it simple......EVERYTHING you expect from a Jersey diner. Great people....great food...great diner atmosphere.
