I got soft serve... the chocolate was smooth the vanilla was oddly lumpy... I called and they said I was right, that since I was one of the 1st customers for the soft serve it didn't freeze properly yet... They told me to swing by later that day and I couldn't so I did today and the guy I spoke with on the phone even gave me a gift cert for next time in addition to a new ice cream : thank you and see you next time!
This ice cream shop is absolutely fantastic, located in the heart of an upscale town. It’s definitely a stop you won’t want to miss! The ice cream is incredibly delicious, while the gelato is rich and creamy. You don’t find this quality of ice cream just anywhere. There are also chairs and outdoor seating available in the front. Parking is easy to find, and the bridge and river are just across the street.
Absolutely the best rolled ice cream in town! I've visited several times, and there's always a line of people eager to sample their delicious creations. It's also fascinating to watch them make the ice cream right in front of you. I usually opt for the "match made in heaven" flavor because I can't get enough of it!
Sunny daes is the best place in Connecticut to get gelato and Westport store is particularly great. They have a wide range of options and everything I tried was pretty amazing. Great place to stop for ice cream. They have soft ice cream, lots of flavors of hard ice cream and gelatos plus tons of toppings. I’m a chocolate guy, so I’ve only had the chocolate, and it was really tasty. I had a large shake and it was practically the size of a big gulp.
Extremely overpriced and not impressive. One of the ice creams we ordered had a burnt freezer taste, which is outrageous given the high prices.
This is the best ice cream I've ever had in my life! You absolutely must give it a try!
