A early evening meal with family for my dads birthday. Overall the food was lovely. And actually one of the best I’ve seen it there. I ordered mixed grill, the amount of food available for the price given in a cost of living is perfect amount. Not too big not too small. Although I don’t think I could manage any bigger. When we first arrived, a lady behind the bar greeted us, but when asked a simple question about a cardigan my mum had left. She didn’t listen properly as she thought my mum was trying to ask if it was there but it was there because it had been put safely. Not that the attitude was bad but i definitely think that kind of person is better with the bar side than more the restaura...
Been a non regular for years, but stumbled on the fact they do a quiz on monday nights so popped along with a friend last week... such a good night that we've been back again tonight and will definitely be regulars for it every week! The landlord his better half are a fantastic couple, very warm and approachable who both made time to come and chat in depth to us both which was appreciated as a lot don't bother with new regular faces anymore! The staff are fab, jovial, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Went for my mums 60th birthday lunch, there was 14 of us in total.! Ordering food was made so easy and simple thank you to helpful staff, wasn’t much of a wait on food after ordering. Nice clean place with a warm friendly atmosphere! Staff friendly and helpful, nice selection of beverages soft and alcoholic! Have options for lite bite meals for those who can’t handle a bigger portion which are very big portions, mum wants to go back she really enjoyed her meal and she is a very fussy eater too! Very happy with our experience
Been here for a few beers decided to book Sunday lunch.Was glad I did reasonable price good portions excellently cooked. Covid safe in fact they have a app if your that way enclined.I had lamb misses had beef and they were perfect lovely lager carling and the also low alcohol beer for the wife stocked well done. Had sweets lovely ill upload picture will be going back and would recommend.I do enjoy waited service even for beers outside its like being abroad I hope they continue it after covid.Give it a try you won't be sorry.

Been to the sunnyside tonight. Booked a table for 6pm. Met at the door by katie very polite and professional. Signed in and seated at a table. Very covid aware . Felt very safe and comfortable. Staff so polite and friendly. Now to the food. What can I say. Absolutely beautiful. All fresh and cooked and to a very high standard. Nothing was to much trouble. We dont eat out very often but we booked again before we left. Landlord came and spoke he is a very nice guy. Fantastic . Thanks pete and emily. We will be back.
I went with our Ladies Who group to the monthly Motown night. We had an absolute blast. We arrived there early and had a meal before the disco (the food is always good and the prices are very reasonable). We danced for virtually all of the disco (you have to give your feet a rest occasionally). The music was fabulous and the DJs were great fun. We visit the Sunnyside regularly and they always look after us. This was our first visit for the Motown evening, it most certainly won't be the last.
Very busy managed to get a table . Ordered 2 Sunday lunch . 30 minutes . Large serving. Beautiful beef 3 slices . Veg was cooked lovely not too crunchy but not soggy . Yorki pud was huge but very nice . Definitely worth the money . We will deffo return .
This place is an amazing place for families to come and have a nice relaxing Sunday lunch. The gravy was pukka and the veggies all cooked to near perfection. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone we meet. Friendly staff and speedy service!

Been tonight . Can't fault the sunnyside for service and quality. Absolutely beautiful food. Hot and fresh. Chloe our waitress certainly gave service with a smile. What a lovely girl so pleasant and polite.
